Lose Weight Recipe Tuna Pasta

Healthful Tuna Pasta Recipe .Below is a low-fat, high-protein, one-dish meal with Tuna:

2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 pound fresh or frozen tuna (not canned), bones removed and chopped into small pieces
14 ounces uncooked pasta (your choice of spaghetti, macaroni, fettuccine, I prefer fettuccine)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup cooked mushrooms and/or sweet green peas
salt and pepper to taste
cooking water
grated parmesan cheese

Sautee garlic and onion in olive oil.
Add tuna, cook until flesh is white, stirring continuously
Add pasta and enough water to cover
Boil, occasionally stirring and adding water if necessary to keep pasta from sticking to the pan, until pasta is al dente
Add mushrooms/sweet green peas, mix thoroughly
Add salt and pepper to taste
Take off from heat
Serve hot with grated parmesan cheese
Makes 6 servings
